FLEURENNE. FOR THE WORDS YOU COULDN'T SAY.
YOUR WORDS. YOUR SPACE.

Your words are personal.

The things you write here may be some of the most honest things you've ever said. You deserve to understand exactly what happens to them.

PRIVACY INFORMATION UPDATED OCTOBER 30, 2026

No account required

You can write and save letters without creating an account or providing your name or email address.

Stored in your browser

Currently, your saved letters and attached photos live in your browser's local storage on this device.

Not publicly listed

FLEURENNE. currently has no public letter feed. Your saved letters aren't published in a searchable collection on the site.

Where FLEURENNE. stands today

FLEURENNE. is currently operating with browser-based letter storage. Online letter sharing and cloud photo storage are not yet connected. This page describes the current implementation, not features that are still being developed.

THE DETAILS

Privacy, without
the confusion.

FLEURENNE. is a website for writing letters you may never send. This page explains how the current version handles letter content, attachments, browser storage, and access.

We believe you should know what the website does before you share anything personal. If a feature isn't available yet, we'll say so.

01 / YOUR INFORMATION

What you choose to write

When you create a letter, you may provide a recipient's name, a subject, a message, a signature, a visual theme, and attached photos.

You can choose to display an anonymous signature on your letter. Creating a letter does not currently require registration, an email address, or a password.

Important: Please avoid including passwords, financial account information, identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information in your letters.

02 / LOCAL STORAGE

Where your letters live

In the current version, FLEURENNE. uses your browser's local storage to keep saved letters and drafts.

  • Saved letters are stored under the browser storage key FLEURENNE_letters_v1.
  • Your in-progress draft is stored under FLEURENNE_draft_v1.
  • Letters stored this way are normally accessible only from the same browser profile and website origin.
  • Clearing site data, switching browsers, or using another device may make those letters unavailable.
Browser storage is not an encrypted private vault. Other people with access to your device or browser profile may be able to access stored letters.
03 / ATTACHED MEMORIES

Photos and memories

You can attach supported image files to your letters. The current editor supports up to five images per letter, with a five-megabyte limit per original file.

The editor may resize and compress supported images before storing them. Attachments are currently stored with their letters as image data in your browser.

This means photos may take up significant browser storage space. If the browser's storage limit is reached, saving a letter or its attachments may fail.

Cloud image storage has not yet been implemented.

04 / SHARING

Sharing a letter

FLEURENNE. is being designed to let writers create a unique link that someone else can open as a personal letter.

That feature is not functional yet. Letters currently opened through letter.html are loaded from the same browser's local storage. A local letter ID is not a working cross-device gift link.

Once online sharing is introduced, this page will be updated to explain where shared letters are stored, who can access them, and how deletion and link access work.

05 / ANONYMITY

Writing anonymously

FLEURENNE. currently allows you to write without creating an account and to choose an anonymous signature.

However, choosing an anonymous signature does not automatically remove identifying details from the words or photos you include. A recipient may recognize your writing, memories, or other details.

Anonymous does not mean untraceable. Your browser, network provider, hosting provider, and any services used to deliver the website may process technical information associated with your visit.

06 / DELETION

Letting a letter go

You can delete saved letters from your private archive. In the current version, deleting a letter removes its saved record and associated image data from the browser's letter collection.

You can also remove FLEURENNE.'s local data through your browser's site data settings.

Deleted local letters cannot be recovered through the website. Browser backups, device backups, or other copies outside FLEURENNE.'s control may still exist.

07 / EXTERNAL SERVICES

Third-party resources

The current frontend loads some visual resources from third-party providers, including Google Fonts and Font Awesome through a content delivery network.

When your browser requests those resources, the providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and request details under their own policies.

Hosting providers may also process access logs and technical request information. The specific hosting provider and its practices depend on where FLEURENNE. is deployed.

This page does not claim that no third parties process information associated with visiting the website.

08 / SECURITY

Security and limitations

The current version stores letters in browser local storage. It does not provide end-to-end encryption, account-based access controls, or a secure cloud backup system.

If you share a device, someone else using the same browser profile may be able to view your letters.

We recommend using a device you trust, keeping your browser updated, and avoiding highly sensitive details in letters.

When online sharing is implemented, it will require a separate review of access permissions, image storage, link security, and deletion behavior. Those protections are not represented as active today.
09 / UPDATES

Changes to this page

As FLEURENNE. develops, its storage, sharing, and privacy practices may change. This page should be updated whenever those changes affect how letters or personal information are handled.

Before launching the website publicly, the site operator should also confirm its actual hosting, analytics, support, retention, and contact practices and reflect them accurately here.

Your story is yours.

Whether you write a single sentence or everything you've been holding onto, you deserve to know where those words go.
